I saw a couple of minutes on My Super Sweet 16 on MTV today. They showed a guy in Atlanta having a party for hundreds of people, he got at least 6 famous rap-stars at his party and if that wasnt enough, he got two cars too. One Land Rover super Charged and one lowrider. He was 16! He will probably collide with them before he is 17! I understand when parents wants to spoil their kids, but there is a limit! At those moments where you have everything, everything is perfekt and you feel like you are in heaven, there is a fun quote that my parents friends from San Diego said -”I wonder what the poor people are doing”.
Actually I didnt thought about all the money the spend on that show, I thought about being famous. Money always have anything to do with being famous. You cant just be one of them, you have to have them both. If you become famous it will sometime lead to that you make a lot of money, and vice versa. It seems that its not that hard to get famous today as it was before. 20 years ago you had to do something extraordinary that no one had ever done before, like breaking a world record, have a strange opinion or something like that. Today you upload a video on youtube, write something offending on your blog or do a Idol tryout and acting wirred to get famous. I don’t think this is bad, but I think the quality of the famous people today is a lot worse than before. Ill say, that today, no one, absolutely no one could be as famous and well remembered as Beatles. Today you remember a famous person for a couple of months, maximum a year and then they are gone.
