Today I thought I should have classes but here in Colombia they celebrate The Three Kings Day*. We didn’t celebrate though, so I went to “santa fe” which is my host brother said it’s the biggest shopping mall in South America. I think I believe him because i walked around for 3 hours and in the end I still found a couple of interesting stores…

After that I went home because I promised that I would make the Swedish version of TACOS for my family. I actually found taco seasoning and hard curved tortilla shells. Its funny that I found it here and that they don’t have it in the real tex-mex country; MEXICO. I cut up some vedgebels and served to my family. THEY LOVED IT! I could believe how fast they ate all of it. Maybe it was good that I waited long to serve it so they got really hungry, because the food went down fast.

Tomorrow is school and I’m very excited. I don’t know if I’m going to do voluntary work tomorrow but I hope so because I want to know what it is. It seems like it’s a really serious University so I better be real prepared tomorrow.

Fact about Bogotá: All the webpage’s I have found have said that there lives around 8 to 9 million people here in Bogotá. My family said that the government doesn’t count a big part of the citizens and because of that, the real number of habitants is closer to 13 million.

Happening of the day: Serving tacos.
